Apple today seeded the first developer beta of its upcoming macOS 27.2 Golden Gate update, coming a few days after the public release of macOS 27 Golden Gate.
Registered developers can download the new beta software through the System Settings app.
Apple skipped macOS 27.1, going directly to 27.2, to keep the new version in sync with the iOS 27.2 beta that was also released today. We explain why Apple skipped iOS 27.1 here.
At the time of this article, we don’t know for sure what new features or bug fixes are in cluded in the new version. As things are discovered, we will update this article.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
