Apple has released a firmware update for the USB-C to MagSafe 3 charging cable for the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Firmware version 3.2.0 replace the previous firmware version for the cable, 3.1.12. The update is the first for the cable since February 2023.
Apple doesn’t release notes for these updates, so we don’t know what exactly is included in this latest firmware.
Apple does not show the MagSafe cable’s firmware version in the macOS System Information tool.
