Just ahead of its 50th anniversary, Apple has launched a new Instagram account called Hello Apple (@helloapple). The company will use the account to share company news and stories, market its products, and more.
Apple already has an Instagram account, where it shares photos and videos for its Shot on iPhone campaign. However, the new account looks to be the place to find out about Apple’s 50th birthday plans, as well as peeks behind the scenes.
In addition to the “Hello” video seen below, the account has already shared other content, including promotional videos for the iPad, MacBook Neo, and last but not least, Apple CEO Tim Cook’s new “50 Years of Thinking Different” letter celebrating Apple’s upcoming milestone. Apple turns 50 on April 1, and it has announced that it plans to celebrate over the coming weeks.
As noted by MacRumors, in addition to the new account, Apple also has Instagram accounts dedicated to Apple Music, Apple News, Apple Books, Apple TV, Apple Fitness+, Apple Creator Studio, and more.
