Apple Pay to Donate $10 to U.S. National Park Foundation For Every Purchase Through Aug. 28, Alongside U.S. National Parks Apple Watch Activity Challenge

Apple will donate $10 to the National Park Foundation for every purchase made in the U.S. using Apple Pay on Apple.com, in the Apple Store app, or at an Apple Store now through August 28, up to a maximum of $1 million. In addition, the annual U.S. national parks Apple Watch Activity Challenge returns on Sunday, August 23. The event celebrates national parks across the United States.

For the ninth year, Apple is celebrating national parks with an Apple Pay donation campaign that will support the National Park Foundation. August 22 through August 29, Apple will make a $10 donation to the National Park Foundation for every purchase made with Apple Pay at an Apple Store location, in the Apple Store app, or on apple.com in the U.S.* Additionally, customers can enjoy special national park themed content collections across Apple Maps, Podcasts, Fitness+, and the App Store – and Apple Watch users around the world can earn a digital limited-edition award on August 24 to celebrate National Parks.

Apple customers have helped support the National Park Foundation’s mission to protect and enhance America’s national parks for present and future generations. As a part of its ongoing commitment to supporting parks, Apple also empowers its employees to give back through dedicated volunteer events.

“We are thankful for Apple’s continued support and celebration of our national parks through its Apple Pay Campaign,” said Dawn Rodney, chief external affairs officer, National Park Foundation. “When we partner with like-minded organizations, we can work toward a future where our national parks are enjoyed by all – today, tomorrow, and forever.”

In addition, the annual U.S. national parks Apple Watch Activity Challenge returns on Sunday, August 23. The event celebrates national parks across the United States.

Apple Watch owners can earn an Apple Watch activity award by performing a hike, walk, run, or wheelchair push that lasts for 20 minutes or more on August 23, 2026.

Earning the award will provide users with animated stickers that can be used in the Messages app.

In addition to a new Apple Watch challenge, Apple traditionally offers other national parks-themed content in August, including Apple TV+ content, Apple Music songs, books, podcasts, and more, as well as an Apple Pay donation program.
