Resellers Returning Their Final Cut Pro Inventory To Apple – Final Cut Pro X Coming Within 10 Days

According to a tweet from internet tech pundit Mark Gurman, retailers have been asked to return their remaining stock of Final Cut Pro to Apple, which strongly suggests that Apple’s new Final Cut Pro X will be out soon.

Apple has previously promised (at the NAB event in April) that Final Cut Pro X would go retail in June, leaving only 10 days for copies to hit the shelves in order for Apple to keep that deadline.

While it’s still unclear whether or not Apple will refresh other components of Final Cut Studio at this time, a new version of Final Cut Pro is certain to make video professionals very, very happy – and Final Cut Pro X is expected to be the best version to date.

Some alleged screenshots of Final Cut Pro X have already been leaked, and the software is expected to bring a huge number of improvements, including native 64-bit coding, more efficient CPU use, and a new “rigging” feature, although we suspect this is just the beginning of the improvements.
