Many of you have probably had the unfortunate experience of dropping your iPhone in water, or spilling something on or near your device. The iPhone is surprisingly resistant to water – but it still doesn’t take a great deal to kill of an iPhone 4 or 4S. So, how does the iPhone 5 hold up against watery doom?

Judging by a number of tests performed by AndroidAuthority (via CultofMac), including dowsing the iPhone 5 in hot coffee, it turns out that the iPhone 5 is remarkably water resistant! Check out the video below to see the full series of torture tests!
