A new website named, oddly enough, the BlackAirPods.store, claims they can perform magic for you, creating a sleek pair of the much-desired black AirPods for just $99. You supply the AirPods.
For just $99 dollars, you can send in your AirPods and within about three days (shipping time not included), the company will have complete what they are calling “a three-phase approach” that “yields a luxurious scratch-resistant finish.”
If you haven’t been able to get your hands on a pair of AirPods, they say they can supply a pair of Apple’s popular wireless earbuds and apply their custom process to them for just $249 total. That’s $90 more than the price of the normal pair of earbuds purchased from Apple.
The company doesn’t explain exactly how their process works, or what makes the new finish so durable. And as far as we know, none have been seen in the wild, but…
