Numerous iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users are reporting that the VoLTE service is now functional, allowing Verizon iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users to use simultaneous voice and data capabilities for the first time when connected to a 4G LTE network. MacRumors has confirmed that VoLTE is indeed working, enabling users to browse the web or access apps while on a voice call.

Verizon’s Advanced Calling service also offers High-Definition voice calls, which the company claims are more “natural sounding,” along with Verizon-branded video calling.

If you’re a Verizon user with a compatible device, you can enable Advanced Calling features by visiting the Verizon website and adding the feature to your account. You’ll also then need to turn on Voice and Data in your iPhone’s Settings. Go to: “Settings” -> “Cellular” -> “Enable LTE” -> Then tap “Voice & Data.”

Verizon’s Advanced Calling features are available only on the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, LG G2, and Samsung Galaxy S5.
