Switzerland Is the Most “Mac Friendly” Country According to Stats

The Swiss love their Macs. Nearly 1 in 5 Swiss surfers do their browsing on an Apple Mac.

Pingdom recently analyzed some data from web analytics company StatCounter that places Switzerland as the most Apple loving country ahead of the likes of the USA and Canada; where a high take up in Macs is to be expected.

There are some surprising countries listed in the top 10. But what’s interesting to note is that 3 of the top 10 are Scandinavian countries (Iceland, Denmark, Norway) with Sweden and Finland just outside the top 10.

The analysis confirms the stereotype that Nordics like pretty shiny things!

Out of curiosity I wanted to see if I either Switzerland or Luxembourg featured in MacTrast’s top 10 countries for visitors. A quick look at our Google Analytics data for February indicates that the US and UK lead the pack with Switzerland, Luxembourg, and not a single Scandinavian country listed in our top 10.
