Comic Life Comes To iPad, Turns Your Photos Into A Comic!

I love comic books, and I’m also always looking for new ways to arrange my photos to show other people. Plasq has now released Comic Life for iPad to do just that! The app helps you arrange your memories into layouts that resemble comic books.

The app first appeared on the Mac, and the iPad version just adds a new dimension to an already intriguing product. The software includes page layout templates, image filters and a multitude of design options to help you change colors, fonts, gradients, balloon text, captions, panels and other attributes.

The app is available now, and costs $7.99 for the iPad version. While this might sound steep, when you consider how well put together the app is, and all of the filters and options it brings to the table (really making it a fairly comprehensive editing program). I consider it to be well worth the cash.

Once you’re done editing the layout you can read what you’ve done with an integrated reader, or share them with friends and family using Facebook or e-mail. You can get Comic Life through the App Store ($7.99, iTunes Link). The latest version of Comic Life 2 for the Mac is also available from the Mac App Store ($19.99, Mac App Store Link)
