Steadicam For The iPhone 4 – Cool Kickstarter Project

Very cool Kickstarter project from a team who have developed a prototype for a steadicam solution for the iPhone 4 – check out the latter part of the video above to see how footage is improved.

The listed features are:

• sturdy polycarbonate case to protect the iPhone during filming
• horn for a better mic directionality as well as sound recording quality (+ 2 db according to tests)
• ergonomic hilt for a comfortable and safe grip
• balancing mechanism to minimize the vibrations transmitted to the images

They need to raise $50k to bring it into production, I really hope they reach their target because I pledged $59 dollars to the project which means I will receive an assembled iSteady when they are available.
