Flipboard has just released the latest version of their popular iPad news reader (free, App Store Link), adding support for Tumblr, 500px, and “Flipboard Account” (which lets you sync content across devices). The company is also working on an iPhone version, which is expected to arrive soon.
The new “Flipboard Account” feature does more than just sync content across devices, however – it’s also great for those that share an iPad with others, as it allows users to load their sources, accounts, and subscriptions just by logging in.
Support for the new accounts feature is already included in the iPad version, available now from the App Store (free, link), and will be enabled in the iPhone version as well as soon as it is released.
