How To: Magnify The Dock On Command

If you’re like me you turn off the magnify features of the dock but decide on occassion that you would like to magnify the dock. If this is the case then you can do so with a simply keyboard shortcut.

Simply drag your mouse icon over the Dock and press Control + Shift on your keyboard.

You will notice that the dock will be magnified whilst the keys are being held down and the mouse pointer remains floating over the dock. Once the keys are no longer pressed and the mouse pointer is moved away from the dock your dock will then return to the default option.

If you have the magnification turned on you can use the keyboard shortcut in combination with the mouse pointer as presented above to temporarily disable the magnification feature.
