How To: Quick Look Preview In Stacks For Mac OS X Lion

Users of Stacks in the Dock will enjoy the new ability in Mac OS X Lion of being able to move the mouse pointer over an icon then upon pressing the spacebar more information or a preview of a file, folder, or application will be revealed.

In the case of files you will be presented with a full view of the document that you can navigate as can be seen below:

Please note this does not work in List mode. It will work in Fan mode but files and folders need to be in the root directory to be able to display in this mode. There are no restrictions when using this technique in Grid mode.
