Verizon iPad Ships Unlocked, Works on AT&T 3G Networks

A question many had surrounding the AT&T and Verizon iPads was whether they would arrive unlocked and able to connect to each others’ 3G networks. That question has now been answered affirmatively, with video evidence to prove it.

The question was first answered by a poster on the MacRumors forums, who added that all you needed to do was adjust the AT&T APN carrier settings.

So if you’re on AT&T but for some reason have bought a Verizon iPad, you can access 3G speeds on the device. Obviously, the LTE will not function.
