Apple Releases iOS 6 Beta 4 to Developers

Apple has rolled out the fourth beta of their forthcoming iOS 6 firmware to developers this morning, three weeks after the third beta. The beta is available both over the air on devices with previous iOS 6 betas, as well as for direct download through the Apple developer portal.

In addition to iOS 6 beta 4, Apple has also released a new Xcode 4.5 preview, as well as an updated iOS 6 beta for the Apple TV.  It’s unclear exactly what has changed in the update, but let us know if you find anything especially interesting. We’ll do the same.

iOS 6 is expected to launch this fall with a long list of new features, and will run on the next-gen iPhone, as well as the iPad (including the rumored “iPad mini” if it is released) and the iPod touch.
