New Images Show The iPhone 5 Front Panel Won’t Be Much Taller Than The iPhone 4S

With numerous credible reports all strongly suggesting that Apple’s next iPhone will have a taller 4-inch screen, many have wondered or worried about how that might affect the size of the next iPhone. According to new leaked images, it appears that the answer is: not much.

Newly leaked images posted by Chinese parts distributor SINOCET (via MacRumors) places the new iPhone’s front panel side-by-side with one from the iPhone 4S, showing that the overall height difference really won’t be very significant – which should come as a relief to anyone who was worried about the ergonomics!

Personally, I’m glad that the overall form factor won’t be changing much – I’m very comfortable with the size of the iPhone, and hope it stays in that neighborhood for a long time to come!
