Apple Begins Selling Refurbished iPad mini and 4th-Gen iPad

Those of you looking to save some money on a new iPad mini or 4th-gen iPad are in luck! Over four months after releasing both products on November 2nd of 2012, Apple has finally begun offering refurbished models of the iPad mini and 4th-gen iPad in the Apple Online Store. Discounts range from $30-40 off an iPad mini, or $50 off a 4th-gen iPad.

Selection on the refurbished units is fairly limited – and these are likely to sell out quick, so if you’d like to grab one of Apple’s new iPads at a discount, I’d recommend doing it sooner rather than later! All refurbished Apple products carry the same one-year warranty as brand new products, and have been inspected thoroughly before being sold. They also have brand new batteries and displays, and look exactly like brand new.
