Apple Adds iTunes Festival Channel to Apple TV in Preparation for Tuesday Kickoff

Apple has added a new iTunes Festival Channel to the Apple TV lineup. The new channel includes information on every act, and their performance times.

AppleInsider┬ánotes that the channel sports the same stenciled look as the festival’s iOS app, which debuted last week.

Users can check performance times, and also view biographical information and iTunes links for every band at the five-day festival.

The channel also features a history of the iTunes Festival, info about this years festival, and lists the various ways the festival can be viewed via Apple apps and devices.

The shows will be held at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, home of Austin City Limits. Tickets are available for free to conference attendees, however the performances can also be viewed live on the web or through the iOS app and new Apple TV channel.
