Apple on Wednesday seeded the first betas of watchOS 2.2.1 and tvOS 9.2.1 to developers for testing. Both betas come a bit over two weeks after the public release of watchOS 2.2 and tvOS 9.2 following Apple’s March media event.

tvOS 9.2.1

The first developer beta of tvOS 9.2.1 – Build 13Y5742b –  is available for download from the Apple Developer Center. Doing an initial installation of the tvOS 9.2 beta requires the unit to be connected to a computer with a USB-C to USB-A cable, and the software needs to be downloaded and installed via iTunes or Apple Configurator.

It isn’t clear what exactly either beta holds as far as new features and such, but both are likely the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements. We’ll let you know in the area below if we find anything else out about the new betas.
