Apple Pay Debuts in Norway With Support From Nordea and Santander Consumer Finance

Apple Pay Debuts in Norway With Support From Nordea and Santander Consumer Finance

One day after its debut in Poland, Apple Pay has arrived in Norway. Apple’s electronic payments solution is now available in 24 countries and regions.

2 financial institutions in Norway will initially offer Apple Pay support to customers, with Nordea and Santander Consumer Finance  bringing the service to their users.

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced during Apple’s earnings call last month that Apple Pay would launch in Ukraine, Poland, and Norway in the “near future.” Today’s opening in Norway completes the promised trilogy of launches, as Ukraine and Poland launched within the last month.

Adding Your Credit or Debit Card to Apple Pay

Once Apple Pay arrives in their country, users can add their credit or debit card to the service by doing the following:

  • iPhone users running iOS 11 can go to the Wallet app and tap the “+” icon in the upper right-hand corner to begin, and then just follow the prompts. Users of iPads with Touch ID can add a card to the service to use in apps by going into “Settings” -> “Wallet & Apple Pay” to add a card there.
  • Apple Watch users will need to enter the Watch app on their iPhone, Tap on the “Wallet & Apple Pay” option, and then tap the “Add Credit or Debit Card” option.
