The Apple Card Gets Its Own Twitter Account, Because Sure It Does

The Apple Card became available to the U.S. general public on Tuesday, and to celebrate its new credit card, Apple has created an Apple Card Twitter account.

The official account, (@AppleCard), has so far posted only a single tweet, which links to the official Apple Card webpage.

The new account is expected to promote the card and any future promotions and rewards related to the card. However, Apple is advising customers that have Apple Card-related support issues to contact the @AppleSupport Twitter account.

The Apple Card rewards program, Daily Cash, gives back a percentage of every purchase as cash on customers’ Apple Cash card each day. Customers will receive 2% Daily Cash every time they use Apple Card with Apple Pay, and 3% Daily Cash on all purchases made directly with Apple, including at Apple Stores, apple.com, the App Store, the iTunes Store and for Apple services.

Apple Card is extending 3% Daily Cash to more merchants and apps. Starting today, customers will receive 3 percent Daily Cash when they use Apple Card with Apple Pay for Uber and Uber Eats. Apple says more popular merchants and apps will be added in the coming months.

For purchases made with the titanium Apple Card, customers will get 1% Daily Cash.

Customers can sign up for the new credit card in the Wallet app on the iPhone or by going into “Settings” -> “Wallet & Apple Pay” on the iPad. You can view a tutorial video on the activation steps on the Apple wallet site.

Applicants are required to be a U.S. citizen or a lawful resident of the United States, and must be at least 18 years of age. You must also have the most recent version of iOS installed on an Apple Pay-compatible device.
