Apple Reportedly Planning to Release First Beta of iOS 13.4.1 This Week

Apple is readying the release of the first beta of iOS 13.4.1 for later this week, says Israeli website The Verifier, which has a mixed track record for reports like this. The release is said to be a “bug fixes” release.

The report also suggests there will not be an iOS 13.5 update this year, which makes sense, as Apple hasn’t released a point-five iOS version in recent years. Instead, the report claims Apple has three more bug fix updates for iOS 13 in the works, with a maximum version number of iOS 13.4.4.

The Verifier has shared several Apple rumors recently, claiming the Apple Watch “Series 6” will support fingerprint authentication and has reported that a “Kids Mode” is on the way for tvOS. While some rumors it has shared has proven to be accurate, others, like a claim Group FaceTime would launch in iOS 11 and the Control Center would expand to macOS, have proven inaccurate.

In today’s topsy-turvy pandemic world, Apple’s plans and timeline will certainly change, so nothing is set in stone until an official announcement or beta seed by Apple.
