Some Apple One Subscribers See Their Account Marked as ‘Expired’ While Other Apple Services Billing Issues Arise

Users that signed up for an Apple One services bundle on day one should be seeing their subscription’s free trial ending today and should be billed for their second month. However, that is not happening.

Some users report seeing their Apple One subscription marked as “expired,” even though the user has not canceled their subscription.

Apple One subscribers can check the status of their subscription by going to the Settings app, and tapping their Apple ID, and then “Subscriptions.”

If everything has gone as it should, you should no longer see separate listings for Apple Music, Apple TV+, Arcade, and News+. Just the listing for Apple One should appear.

However, if like me, something has indeed gone wrong and Apple One did not renew, the separate listings for Apple Music, Apple TV+, Arcade, and News+ will still remain, and the Apple One entry will read “Expired Nov 30, 2020.” (This is what I am currently seeing.)

Other reports we’ve heard mention getting repeatedly billed today, or having their iCloud storage mysteriously canceled. (Mine has been reduced to 5GB, although I had previously been paying for extra space and Apple One is supposed to include 2TB of storage. My wife and I were both charged for our old storage plans yesterday.)

Other users report being unable to access certain Apple services, such as Apple Arcade or Apple TV+, as the apps fail to recognize that an Apple One subscription has been activated.

Hopefully, this is merely a temporary glitch and things will soon be fixed by Apple on the server-side of things.
