Apple last week announced its new over-ear AirPods Max headphones. Now, reports are coming in that AirPods Max pre-orders are beginning to ship to pre-order customers. The official launch date for the new headphones is December 15.
While numerous AirPods Max orders are still showing online as “Processing” or “Preparing to Ship,” MacRumors reports one of their readers has shared a screenshot of their AirPods Max order, marked as “Shipped” on the Apple online store.
AirPods Max combines a custom acoustic design, H1 chips, and advanced software to power computational audio for a breakthrough listening experience with Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and spatial audio.
AirPods Max are available for pre-order currently for $549 (US) and are available in space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink. Apple says AirPods Max will be available starting on December 15 in the United States and over 25 markets worldwide. However, it should be noted that Delivery estimates for all five AirPods Max colors have already slipped into 2021 on Apple.com.
