Developer Giulio Zompetti Shares Photos of ‘Pacific Blue’ iPhone 12 Prototype

Developer Giulio Zompetti, who often shares prototype versions of Apple devices, on Wednesday shared photos of a prototype version of the iPhone 12 Pro.

The iPhone 12 Pro shown in the photos is running an operating system called SwitchBoard, a nonUI version of the iOS 14 update that Apple uses internally. Apple uses Switchboard to test new features and prototype devices.

The prototype iPhone 12 in the photos is in Pacific Blue, which has proven to be one of the most popular iPhone 12 Pro colors. The iPhone appears to have no visible engravings but otherwise appears similar to the iPhone 12 Pro that launched in October.

Zompetti has previously shared photos of prototypes of the original Apple Watch and the third-generation iPod touch.
