Apple’s latest Vision Pro Immersive Video short puts you in the cockpit of a F1 car with Brad Pitt as he takes a hot lap around a Formula One track. The new video, titled “F1: The Movie Hot Lap,” takes viewers on a high-speed test drive with the star of Apple’s upcoming “F1” movie, which hits theater screens on June 27.
A Formula 1 “hot lap” is a full lap taken around a circuit in either practice or qualifying rounds. It’s often the lap following a slower warm up lap.
The immersive content is an 8K, 180-degree video, allowing users to feel like they’re really riding in the car as it races around the circuit. Sigmund Judge first posted about the video on Threads.
