Apple today seeded the third beta of its upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.6 update to public beta testers, with the new public seed coming one day after the release of the third developer beta.
The betas can be installed and going to “System Settings” -> “General” -> “Software Update” on the Mac after opting into the beta through Apple’s public beta testing website.
It’s not yet clear what new features or fixes are included in macOS Sequoia 15.6. There have been rumors that Apple plans to bring Apple Intelligence to China. There have been some regulatory hurdles that Apple is dealing with, so Apple Intelligence in China likely won’t make an appearance in macOS 15.6. When we hear more about what’s new in the beta, we’ll update you in this space.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
