Apple today seeded the third beta of tvOS 26 to developers for testing purposes. The new beta come two weeks after the second betas was released.
The betas are currently only available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the Settings app on compatible Apple TVs. The beta is limited to developers right now, but tvOS 26 will be available to public beta testers sometime this month. The updates will be released to all users in the fall.
The new operating system offers new features, including new Liquid Glass design changes inspired by visionOS, as well as the ability to use an iPhone as a microphone for karaoke, new Aerial screensaver, and more.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Apple TV. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
