Apple’s new subscription device protection plan, AppleCare One, is now available. The new plan covers multiple Apple devices with just one monthly fee. The new AppleCare One plan starts at $19.99 per month to cover up to three products, with the option to add more devices for $5.99 per month for each additional device.
AppleCare One offers all of the benefits that are included with an AppleCare+ plan, including unlimited repairs for accidental damage, battery coverage, priority support, and more. The new bundle also expands theft and loss protection to the iPad and Apple Watch. Previously, it was only available for the iPhone.
Subscribers have the flexibility to freely move device in and out of the plan at any time, and users can add products that are up to four years old and still in good condition. This allows users who missed the current 60-day window to purchase AppleCare+ to still protect their devices. When a customer trades in a covered product directly to Apple, it is automatically removed from the coverage and the new device takes its place.
AppleCare One pricing is the same regardless of the products that are covered, meaning a customer can enroll their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, and save up to $11 a month over enrolling in separate AppleCare+ plans for each device. Additional items can be added for $5.99 per month each.
Customers in the U.S. can sign up for AppleCare One directly on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting their nearest Apple Store.
