iOS 18.6.2 Update Coming Very Soon, Says Leaker

Apple is preparing to release another minor iOS 18 update for the iPhone, an anonymous leaker said today in a post on X. The post was by a private account with a history of leaking Apple software build numbers.

The leaker said they have seen evidence of iOS 18.6.2 with a build number of 22G100, although the update could end up being a revised version of iOS 18.6.1.

Apple released iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1 last week. Those updates re-enabled the Blood Oxygen feature on Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Ultra 2 models sold in the U.S., using a workaround, where sensor data from the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch is measured and calculated on the paired iPhone, with results being viewed in the Respiratory section of the Health app, instead of providing a readout on the Apple Watch itself.

In any case, the coming update will likely include bug fixes, as well as security patches, with perhaps some minor tweaks to the returned Blood Oxygen measurement feature.
