MacBook Pro With OLED Display Launch May be Delayed

It has been widely believed that Apple would release its first MacBook Pro models sporting OLED display in 2026, but it looks like that debut may be a bit delayed, says Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.

Gurman’s comments came in his Power On newsletter on Sunday. He said he expects the MacBook Pro to get an OLED display sometime “between the end of 2026 and early 2027.”

OLED technology promises increased brightness as well as better battery life, higher contrast ratio with deeper blacks, improved power efficiency for longer battery life, and more.

Gurman says while the MacBook Pro OLED models could still launch in 2026, 2027 is looking like more of a possibility.
