Popular Apple TV+ UK spy drama Slow Horses has returned for season five. The series is a darkly-funny spy thriller that has proven to be popular among critics and the public alike. An additional episode will be available each Wednesday, through October 29.
The series follows an MI5 unit made up of disgraced or failed agents, led by Jackson Lamb (the always excellent Gary Oldman). It also stars Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Sophie Okenedo, Jonathan Pryce, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, and Christopher Chung.
As it has every season, “Slow Horses” season five will be a six-episode run.
In season five of “Slow Horses,” everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, the London Rules — cover your back — always apply.
Slow Horses seasons 1-4 are available for viewing on Apple TV+ in case you haven’t yet watched the previous seasons, allowing you to binge the first four seasons before tackling season five.
