Apple TV’s new sci-fi drama series Pluribus premieres this Friday, and Apple has announced an official companion podcast for the highly-anticipated series.
The new series, which is run by “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan, stars “Better Call Saul” actor Rhea Seehorn as Carol, who is described as “the most miserable person on Earth.” She must “save the world from happiness,” indicating that a happiness virus of some type has infected everyone but her.
Apple is putting a lot behind the promotion for this series, and obviously expects the show to be a big success. Part of the promotional blitz is a new official Apple TV companion podcast.
Pluribus: The Official Podcast will be produced in-house by Apple, giving the producers of the podcast inside access to information about the series:
Join Pluribus editor and host Chris McCaleb, along with members of the cast and crew, for an inside look at the making of the new Apple Original series. Each week, Chris leads a roundtable discussion of the latest episode with a mix of folks who brought the show to life: writers, directors, actors, and—of course—creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan and star Rhea Seehorn.
Pluribus: The Official Podcast is an Apple TV podcast produced by High Bridge Productions and Sony Pictures Television. Follow and listen on Apple Podcasts.
Pluribus will premiere this Friday, November 7 on Apple TV and new episodes of the podcast will drop alongside the show each week.
