Apple today seeded the second beta of macOS Tahoe 26.2 to developers for testing. The new beta comes one week after the the first beta seed’s release.
Registered developers can download the new beta software through the System Settings app. The macOS Tahoe 26.2 beta is currently limited to developers, but it will likely soon be released to public beta testers sometime in the next few days.
So far, we know the Reminders app is getting an option to have an alarm go off when a reminder is due, the News app has received some design updates, and new features are being added to the Podcasts app.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes. Apple is expected to release macOS Tahoe 26.2 to the public sometime around mid-December.
