Apple has released an update to its Apple Store app for the iPhone and iPad. The new app sports Liquid Glass elements, as well as a new app icon that has a Liquid Glass icon. Liquid Glass is Apple’s new design love language, introduced in iOS 26 and iPadOS 26.
The new version of the icon boast a Liquid Glass shopping bag on a blue gradient background, whereas the previous version of the icon sported a blue shopping bag on a white background.
Liquid Glass design elements are present and accounted for when it comes to the rest of the app, as a transparent, rounded navigation bar with a Liquid Glass slider has been added, along with an updated search interface. Other than those design changes, the content in the app remains the same.
Version 6.6 of the Apple Store app also contains “various improvements and performance enhancements,” according to Apple’s release notes.
The Apple Store app allows iPhone and iPad users to browse and buy Apple products and accessories, along with access to sipport links. The free app can be downloaded from the App Store.
