Apple today announced it will remove Major League Soccer (MLS) games from behind its current paywall and into its Apple TV streaming service starting in 2026. MLS will no longer be a separate subscription, and will now be available as part of the Apple TV service subscription.
Ever since Apple began carrying MLS games, they were only available through the MLS Season Pass, which was priced at $14.99 per month or $99 for the season. The MLS Season Pass will no longer be available starting with the 2026 season, and soccer fans will have be able to watch games through their standard $12.99 per month Apple TV subscription.
The MLS board of governors will need to approve the new deal between Apple and the MLS.
“We’re thrilled to bring MLS to more fans around the world next season on Apple TV,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services. “Every match, all in one place, alongside incredible Apple Originals — it’s a win for fans everywhere.”
“Our partnership with Apple has always been about innovating for our fans,” said Don Garber, Major League Soccer’s commissioner. “Bringing every MLS match to Apple TV takes that vision to the next level by making it easier than ever for fans everywhere to watch, connect, and be part of the game.”
Soccer fans will be able to view MLS matches, studio shows, and VOD content in more than 100 countries and regions, with no blackouts.
