iPhone 16e Not Selling Well, Says Asian Leaker

Apple’s iPhone Air isn’t the only iPhone that’s not selling well, as the Cupertino firm’s entry-level iPhone 16e model is also selling poorly, according to an Asian leaker.

The Weibo user known as “Fixed Focus Digital” says that the ‌iPhone 16e‌ has “failed” as it is not selling well. The ‌iPhone‌ 16e will soon be replaced, as the iPhone‌ 17e is expected to debut in the spring of 2026. while the iPhone Air and iPhone 16e are reportedly tanking in sales, demand for the iPhone 17 lineup continues to be strong.

Apple introduced the ‌iPhone 16e‌ earlier this year. The budget-priced iPhone is powered by the A18 chip, sports an OLED display, uses Apple’s own C1 modem, a 48-megapixel back-facing camera for $599. We haven’t seen much news about the device’s sales numbers until now.

The iPhone 16e’s replacement, the ‌iPhone‌ 17e is expected to be powered by the A19 chip and potentially the Dynamic Island.
