Apple TV has received a total of 14 2026 Golden Globes nominations in the film and television categories. “Pluribus” has joined “Severance” and previous nominee “Slow Horses” in being nominated in the Best Television Series — Drama category, snagging half of the available nomination spots.
The nomination list for the Golden Globes awards have been announced, and Apple TV has doubled its score from 2024. While the total of 14 nominations is two less that in 2023 when the streaming service received 16, it is still an impressive number of nods.
Apple’s critically-acclaimed comedy series, “The Studio,” scored a nomination for Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy. Meanwhile, “Pluribus” star Rhea Seehorn received a nod for Best Female actor in a Television Series – Drama. She is competing in the category against Britt Lower, from Apple TV’s “Severance.” “Slow Horses” star Gary Oldman received a nomination for Best Male actor in a Television Series – Drama. “The Studio” star Seth Rogen receive a nom nod for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy
Two Apple TV stars are also facing off in the Best Supporting Male actor category, with Tramell Tillman from “Severance” competing against Billy Crudup for “The Morning Show.”
“The Studio” co-star Catherine O’Hara scored a nomination for Best Supporting Female actor.
Apple’s “F1: The Movie” missed out on the Best Picture category, but achieved a nomination for its original score by Hans Zimmer. The popular racing film is also nominated in the category for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
The 2026 Golden Globes award winners will be announced on January 11, in a ceremony to be broadcast on on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Nikki Glaser will return as 2026 Golden Globes host.
