YouTube TV to Launch Cheaper Sports, News, and Entertainment Bundles Early Next Year

YouTube TV to Launch Cheaper Sports, News, and Entertainment Bundles Early Next Year

YouTube TV will launch 10+ genre-specific television packages in 2026, YouTube announced today. The new packages are designed to be more affordable that the current YouTube TV offering, which is $82.99 per month.

The new offerings will include packages for news, family, entertainment, sports, and more.

One package that we know our customers will be excited for is the YouTube TV Sports Plan. The Sports Plan will offer fans access to all the major broadcasters as well as sports networks like FS1, NBC Sports Network, all of the ESPN networks, as well as ESPN Unlimited. Subscribers can include add-ons like NFL Sunday Ticket and RedZone, and keep all fan-favorite features, including unlimited DVR, multiview, key plays, and fantasy view.

YouTube has yet to announce pricing information for each of the new plans, nor has it specified which channels will be available in which packages. The new YouTube TV plans should include many of the same features offered by today’s subscription, including DVR capabilities, fantasy view, and multiview.

YouTube TV today offers over 100 channels, providing access to popular channels across all genres. The current plan will continue to be available, alongside the lower-priced genre-specific channels.
