Apple on Wednesday launched its new Creator Studio bundle that it announced two weeks ago. The bundle offers access to six Apple apps for $12.99 per month or $129 per year. Students and educators are able to subscribe to Creator Studio for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. The Creator Studio subscription can be shared with up to five family members on a linked Apple Account.
The apps included in the Creator Studio bundle are Apple’s Final Cut Pro video editing software, Logic Pro audio editing and creation software, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad image editing app, along with Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on the Mac.

Excepting Pixelmator Pro for iPad all of the apps were available prior to today, and all of them continue to be available for individual, standalone purchase. The advantage of subscribing to the Creator Studio bundle instead of buying them for a flat fee is that the subscription unlocks AI features that are not otherwise accessible in these apps. The bundle also adds new features to free apps like Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, with Freeform getting the treatment at later time. Creator Studio versions of those apps include:
Even if you have purchased these apps in the past, you will need to subscribe to the bundle if you want to have access to all of the new features offered by these apps going forward. However, Apple promises the apps will continue to receive updates.
There are some exceptions to this rule, as Logic Pro and MainStage users will apparently have all the same features whether they opt for the subscription or one-time-purchase versions.
Creator Studio apps cannot be subscribed to individually at a lower price, only an all-in-one subscription is available.
Creator Studio can be downloaded from the iOS and Mac App Stores starting today. All new subscribers are eligible for a one-month free trial, and customers who purchase a new Mac or qualifying iPad model with an A16, A17 Pro, or M-series chip can get an extended three-month free trial.
Accessing all features of the Creator Studio bundle requires iPadOS 26 and later, and macOS 26 and later. Most of the apps require at a minimum, macOS 15.6 and an M1 chip or newer for Mac use, though Pixelmator Pro requires a Mac with macOS 26.
On the iPad platform, Final Cut Pro requires an A16 chip or newer, Logic Pro requires an A12 Bionic Chip or newer, and Pixelmator Pro requires an A16 chip or newer.
