Apple’s Back to School Promotion With Free Accessories Kicks Off in Four Countries

Apple’s annual “Back to School”/”Back to Uni” promotions have return in four countries, AustraliaNew ZealandBrazil, and South Korea.

The program offers students and teachers a free or discounted accessory with the purchase of select Mac and iPad models from January 6 through March 11. The promotions are similar to those Apple annually offers in the United States and several other countries in June and July.

Each device type offers at least one accessory option at no extra charge, with more expensive accessories available at reduced upgrade prices.

For example, in Australia, qualified customers purchasing an iPad Air or iPad Pro can receive a free Apple Pencil Pro (usually A$199) or free standard AirPods 4 (usually A$219). AirPods 4‌ with Active Noise Cancellation can be had by paying an additional A$80 fee or a Magic Keyboard for an additional A$210–A$350 fee, depending on the model.

Meanwhile, iMac buyers can score ‌AirPods 4‌ with Active Noise Cancellation (Usually A$299) at no additional charge or upgrade to AirPods Pro 3 for an additional A$130 upgrade fee. MacBook Air and MacBook Pro buyers can receive ‌AirPods 4‌ with Active Noise Cancellation, a Magic Mouse, a Magic Trackpad, or a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad for free, or they can upgrade to ‌AirPods Pro 3‌ for an additional A$130.

Discounts are available for current and newly accepted university students, parents buying for students, and teachers and staff at all levels. And the offers are available in each country on Apple’s online store, in the Apple Store app, or at Apple’s physical retail stores where available.

Apple’s educational discounts on products are still available, and AppleCare+ plans are discounted by up to 10% off for students.
