Santa Rosa Apple Store to Move to New Location Later This Month

Apple’s Santa Rosa, California retail store will move from the Santa Rosa Plaza shopping mall to the open-air Montgomery Village shopping plaza later this month.

The new Montgomery Village store will hold its grand opening on Friday, January 23, at 12 p.m. local time, according to Apple’s website.

The existing Santa Rosa Plaza retail store opened in 2004.

In other California Apple Store-related news, Apple is in the process of renovating its Carlsbad retail location, which is located north of San Diego. Apple is operating out of a temporary location at 1925 Calle Barcelona.

Apple is also renovating its retail location at the South Coast Plaza shopping mall in Costa Mesa, south of Los Angeles (I bought my first Mac at that store), the store is operating out of a temporary storefront there while the renovations are being performed.
