As you can imagine, there are conditions to the offer, as 5% Daily Cash is limited to $500 in combined Walgreens and Duane Reade purchases, so the maximum cash back that you can score is $25.

5% Daily Cash: Valid 3/20/26 through 5/20/26 (“Offer Period”). All Existing Apple Card holders will earn a total of 5% Daily Cash on up to $500 in total Qualifying Purchases made at Walgreens and Duane Reade using your Apple Card with Apple Pay that post to your account during the Offer Period. 5% Daily Cash is calculated based on the amount of the Qualifying Purchase multiplied by the standard 3% Daily Cash earned at Walgreens and Duane Reade plus a promotional 2% Bonus Daily Cash. Bonus Daily Cash earned as part of this promotion cannot be combined with other Apple Card account opening or promotional Bonus Daily Cash offers that may be available during this Offer Period. The maximum total Daily Cash you can earn through this offer is $25 (which includes $15 in standard Daily Cash and $10 in Bonus Daily Cash). After meeting the $500 maximum spend amount, all Qualifying Purchases made at Walgreens and Duane Reade will earn the standard 3% Daily Cash noted in your Apple Card Customer Agreement. Qualifying Purchases at Walgreens and Duane Reade include those made in the United States when using Apple Card with Apple Pay at Walgreens and Duane Reade online, in the Walgreens app, and in stores. Excludes purchases: 1) where Apple Pay is not available as a payment option (e.g. all gift card purchases online and in-app, all purchases made in a drive-thru, and all purchases online or in-app with more than one item in the cart); 2) from third-party merchants within Walgreens or Duane Reade stores, online, or in-app (e.g. kiosks for services like telecom, photo, dental, optical, healthcare, lab work, or hearing, or any third party using independent point-of-sale systems); 3) made directly on third-party delivery apps or websites. Existing Apple Cardholders are defined as current Owners, Co-Owners, Participants, or Apple Card holders who merge Apple Card accounts during Offer Period. Total qualifying spend is determined independently for Existing Apple Card holders within the same Apple Card Family. This means that each Existing Apple Card holder within the same Apple Card Family is eligible to earn a total of 5% Daily Cash back on up to $500 of their own Qualifying Purchases at Walgreens and Duane Reade using their Apple Card with Apple Pay. Returns and refunds during the Offer Period may reduce the amount of bonus Daily Cash earned from this offer. You can choose to direct Daily Cash to a Savings account or to an Apple Cash account. If you do not have either set up to receive your Daily Cash, it can be applied as statement credit upon request. Walgreens and Duane Reade are just two of several merchants that offer special cash back rates for Apple Card users when using Apple Pay and the Apple Card for a purchase. Others include Ace Hardware, Booking.com, ChargePoint, Hertz, Exxon and Mobil gas stations, Nike, Uber, and Uber Eats.
Apple Card holders can also get 3% Daily Cash from Apple purchases.
Apple Pay purchases earn Apple Card holders 2% cash back by default, with 1% cash back available for non-Apple Pay purchases.
