As had been expected, Apple today released iOS 26.3.1 and iPadOS 26.3.1, minor updates to the iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 operating systems.
The new software can be downloaded on compatible iPhones and iPads by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
Apple’s release notes say the updates add support for the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR, and also include unspecified bug fixes.
A day one firmware update is also available for the new displays, which will hit shelves on Wednesday, March 11.
The Studio Display Firmware 26.3 update is only for the new Studio Display options, and it is not available on the older model.
Studio Display firmware can be updated by connecting the display to a Mac and going to “System Settings” -> “Software Update.”
The new monitors are available for pre-order and will launch on Wednesday, March 11.
