Apple is now sending out email invitations to developers and students that have been selected to attend the WWDC 2026 Special Event at Apple Park on June 8. While Apple is holding a WWDC keynote viewing at Apple Park, space is limited, so invitations are issued on a lottery basis.
Attendees were selected based on a random lottery system. Apple Developer Program members, prior-year Swift Student Challenge winners, and Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni were eligible to enter. Apple will also invite students who win this year’s Student Challenge, but that is a separate lottery.
Lucky lottery winners will have the opportunity to attend a special viewing party at Apple Park on June 8 to watch the keynote at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, followed by the Platforms State of the Union, then Apple park tours, and dinner. Attendees will be able to interface with Apple engineers and visit the Developer Center.
Those who plan to attend the viewing event will need to RSVP by April 10, and invitations are non-transferable. While the event itself is free, developers and students will need to pay for their own travel costs. Out-of-state attendees will need to purchase airfare, hotel accommodations, and transportation to Apple Park.
WWDC 2026 will take place from June 8 to June 12. Developers and students not selected to attend the Apple Park event can follow along with WWDC through Apple’s developer website and app. Apple plans to share 100+ WWDC sessions.
