Apple has updated its free Apple Sports app for the iPhone to provide additional 2026 FIFA World Cup content, adding the ability to view complete tournament groupings and follow their favorite national teams in the app.
Apple Sports first launched in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. in February 2024, later expanding to Europe and Mexico. The app offers a personalized experience that allows users to put their favorite leagues and teams front and center. The app is now available in 80 countries.
The app shows scores, stats, standings, and more for a variety of leagues and events, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NASCAR, F1, Premier League, PGA TOUR, and more. It also includes support for more than 30 of the top soccer leagues and tournaments across North America, Latin America, and Europe.
Version 3.9 of the Apple Sports app is now a free download in the App Store.
