Apple Begins Selling Refurbished Studio Display XDR in US and Select Other Countries

Apple has begun selling refurbished Studio Display XDR models in the U.S. for the first time since the display’s March release. It is also available in AustraliaNew ZealandCanadaJapan, and select other countries.

A refurbished Studio Display XDR with a VESA mount adapter and standard glass carries a 15% discount, priced at $2,459, down from $2,899 for the new version. 15% discounts are typical for Apple’s refurbished products.

A refurbished model with a tilt- and height-adjustable stand and standard glass is priced at $2,799, down from $3,299, which is also a 15% discount.

Refurbished models with nano-texture glass are also available at a discount.

Apple’s refurbished items come in a plain white box with a Thunderbolt 5 Pro cable. The products are put through “full functionality testing” and a “thorough cleaning process and inspection,” and are also covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty, and they are eligible for extended AppleCare+ or AppleCare One coverage.

The Studio Display XDR is a 27-inch 5K Retina XDR display featuring an advanced mini-LED backlight with over 2,000 local dimming zones, up to 1000 nits of SDR brightness, and 2000 nits of peak HDR brightness, as well as a wider color gamut. Boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, the Studio Display XDR’s Adaptive Sync dynamically adjusts frame rates for content like video playback or graphically intense games. Studio Display XDR is equipped with a 12-megapixel Center Stage camera, six speakers, two Thunderbolt 5 ports with one providing up to 140W pass-through charging, and two USB-C ports.
