Leaked iPhone 18 Pro Parts Show Three Color Options With No Black Option

Well-known leaker Sonny Dickson has shared an image of differently SIM card trays that he says are for Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro models. The SIM card trays are in three different colors: Silver, Dark Cherry, and Sky Blue. The current iPhone 17 Pro is available in Cosmic Orange, Silver, and Deep Blue.

Dickson shared the image in response to a Tuesday report about a Chinese leaker’s claim that the iPhone 18 Pro models would come in Dark Cherry, Sky Blue, and Black.

Dickson told MacRumors that the colors in the shared image are the only ones he’s seen in recent months. However, back in May, the leaker share iPhone 18 Pro dummy units that showed a fourth Black color. When quizzed about that, Dickson said that while black dummies are made every year, it’s not a color Apple likes to use anymore.

While iPhone models sold in the U.S., Canada, and several other regions use eSIMs and no longer come equipped with SIM card trays, devices sold in Europe, Japan, China, and Australia still include one. The lone exception is the iPhone Air, which lacks a SIM tray no matter where it is sold.

Dickson is not the first to says there won’t be a black option for the iPhone 18 Pro, as Chinese leaker Instant Digital in April said there would be no black color for the iPhone 18 Pro.

Apple’s ‌iPhone 18 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 18 Pro‌ Max are expected to be unveiled at the company’s September event next week, so we’ll officially learn the color options for the handset then.
