Saturday Marks the Final Day of Business for These Two Apple Stores

This Saturday marks the final day of business for Apple Bristol in Bristol, England and Apple Parkland in Dalian, China.

As reported by MacRumors, both of the stores will be permanently closing tomorrow, due to landlord-related issues. The Apple Bristol location closing is due to the landlord’s redevelopment plans at the Cabot Circus Shopping Centre, as well as the nearby Bristol Shopping Quarter. Meanwhile, the Apple Parkland retail location is closing due to the mall’s ongoing financial struggles and its loss of several major retailers.

Both locations will open at 10 a.m. local time tomorrow. The Bristol location’s doors will close for good at 5 p.m. local time, while Parkland customers in Dalian will be able to shop at the store until 8 p.m., when the doors close for one final time.

Apple customers won’t be left hanging without an Apple fix, as they can drive to Apple Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts of Bristol. Likewise, Dalian Apple customers can still visit the Olympia 66 store.

In related news, Apple will temporarily close its store at The Forum Shops in the Las Vegas, Nevada area between August 9 and August 31. The Forum Shops shopping mall is located inside Caesars Palace, the famous luxury hotel and casino resort that has long been a fixture on the Las Vegas Strip. During the closure, customers can visit Apple’s nearby Fashion Show store, which is also on the Las Vegas Strip.

On the plus side of the ledger, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania customers are getting an all-new Apple Shadyside, located at 5436 Walnut Street tomorrow, with the new location set to hold its grand opening at 10 a.m. local time.
